Other platforms
Any Docker host or panel works if it meets the four requirements below.
Only the proxy configs in Reverse proxy are tested. Coolify, Portainer stacks, Dokploy, CapRover and plain docker run were not tested. Nothing here is a UI walkthrough. Map the requirements onto your panel’s own fields.
What every platform must provide
- HTTPS domain routed to container port 3000. TLS ends at the platform’s proxy.
- Persistent volume mounted at
/data. It holds the store, the setup token and the import spool. - No published host port. The container must be reachable only through the proxy.
- One replica. Two instances on one store are refused.
Recommended extras, not required:
DBLOOM_PUBLIC_ORIGINset to thehttpsURL of that domain, no path. Optional in direct mode, required in account mode.DBLOOM_TRUST_PROXYset to the CIDR of the network the proxy connects from. Unset, any private-range peer is trusted as the proxy and the exposure report warns.
The proxy must also do the seven things in What the proxy must do. Platforms that hide the proxy still need to meet them.
Example: docker run
Build from a checkout, then run. There is no -p flag. The -e lines are recommended. Direct mode starts without them.
docker build -t dbloom .
docker run -d --name dbloom \
--read-only --tmpfs /tmp \
-e DBLOOM_PUBLIC_ORIGIN=https://dbloom.example.com \
-e DBLOOM_TRUST_PROXY=172.18.0.0/16 \
-v dbloom-data:/data \
--restart unless-stopped \
--stop-timeout 30 \
dbloomPut the proxy on a Docker network that the container also uses. Set DBLOOM_TRUST_PROXY to that network’s CIDR to narrow trust (recommended).
Example: compose snippet
Use your image reference in place of dbloom if you do not build from a checkout. The environment lines are recommended, not required.

- Edge and serverless hosting. DBLoom is one long-running container with a volume.
- Direct TLS on the internet.
DBLOOM_TLS=ownis refused. TLS must end at a proxy. - Sub-path deployment, for example
example.com/dbloom. - More than one replica on one store.
